Dog Trotters is different from many other boarding facilities. We are a SMALL family owned kennel. Our limited size means Your dog will not be ignored! We make sure they have a great vacation with- Freedom Boarding. What that means to your dog is that your dog gets day camp included in their boarding. They have the freedom to do whatever they want, go outdoors, stay inside, play with other dogs, take a nap, go into their "room", lay on a cot and enjoy the sunshine, participate in an activity game, get brushed, have their belly rubbed. They do not sit in a CAGE all day long. Your dog enjoys our indoor/outdoor play yard interacting with other dogs and the Dog Trotters family. We don’t just stand there and let your dog get bored! We interact with them. We play all sorts of games such as tag, hide and seek, follow the leader, tug of war, chase, Treasure Hunt, keep away and more. We bond with your dog and gain their trust. We also make sure your dog gets plenty of one on one time. Day camp is a great way to socialize your dog. Some dogs love to play with other dogs, some dogs are not used to playing with other dogs so it may take them a while to warm up and join in on all of the fun! Some dogs just enjoy the company of Brenda, Mike, Jacquie or Matt- the Dog Trotters Family. Whatever your dog enjoys doing; they are free to do it at Dog Trotters. We are committed to the health and happiness of your pet. Oh yeah,we charge by the night not by the day like others!
